Clean Cities

Clean Cities is now accepting applications for its summer 2016 internship program. According to its website, Clean Cities’ mission is,  “Clean Cities advances the energy, economic, and environmental security of the United States by supporting local actions to cut petroleum use in transportation” (source). These paid positions are 30 to 40 hours per week, and run June 6, 2016- August 19, 2016 (approximately)(source).

City of Ypsilanti

The City of Ypsilanti is looking for a Marketing/Communications Intern. According to the job posting, “This is a part-time internship that is meant to give students the opportunity to gaining experience in an active municipal marketing campaign. This internship position is intended to provide academic credit, however an alternative structure with an hourly-pay rate will be considered for exceptionally qualified candidates” (source).

Ann Arbor Summer Festival

The Ann Arbor Summer Festival is now accepting applications for summer 2016. According to its website,

“The Ann Arbor Summer Festival internship program offers meaningful, on-the-job experience for college students and recent graduates who are interested in pursuing careers in arts management and live event production. Festival internships offer a wide range of hands-on experiences and networking opportunities for aspiring arts professionals.

These range from in-season (January- July) operations, development, programing, marketing, and digital media positions to year-round administrative opportunities. All internships are unpaid opportunities that allow candidates to get practical, hands-on knowledge in arts and entertainment and the production world. Hours are flexible and adaptable” (source).

Tanner Friedman

Tanner Friedman is now accepting internship applications for summer 2016. According to its website, “The goal of the Tanner Friedman internship program is to provide student participants with a meaningful, multi-dimensional, ‘real world’ experience that will build upon their educational backgrounds and help build a foundation on which they can base a professional career” (source). The summer session runs from May to August.
