Lindsay was invited to interview for the position just eight hours after the site’s launch. Although the University ultimately chose another candidate, the “Dear Lisa Rudgers” campaign has seen over 100,000 unique visitors from 170 countries around the globe, earning favorable coverage from the likes of Mashable, Slate, and Marketplace Money. Lindsay subsequently directed social media marketing efforts for national brands like I Love New York, Brinks, and Nonni’s Biscotti. Lindsay is currently a PhD student in the University of Michigan’s Social Media Research Lab, where she studies trolling and online harassment.
