Position: Part time, 12-18 hours per week; willing to work with class schedule, on school breaks, if taking summer classes etc. Flexible hours.
Compensation: To be determined; College credit and/or monetary compensation commensurate with candidate skills & attributes.
o Monitoring and posting to multiple social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn on behalf of the company, employees and clients.
o Assistance generating quarterly email newsletter.
o Website maintenance and updates, search engine optimization, keyword research.
o Consistent digital branding and potential rebranding support.
o Valuable content creation including thought provoking blog posts, case studies, articles, web content and more.
o Attending & reporting on networking events including activities with the local chamber of commerce, non-profit organizations and other UTEC affiliates.
o Community outreach and involvement from community service and “give-back” standpoint.
o Company branding consistency.
o Generating ideas for fundraising and alertness to affiliate opportunities.
o Assistance crafting and editing press releases, articles and other promotional/marketing materials as needed.
o Creating relationships with media personnel and journalists.
- Must be a student, preferably in close proximity to our office, with a Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing or similar major.
- Excellent communications, writing and people skills. Application will require writing submission.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks at once. Problem solving and critical thinking, as well as creativity, are essential.
- Self sufficient and self-starting person with ability to work independently and in team settings interchangeably. Ability to work under light to moderate supervision.
