The 16th Annual Student Development Conference is proud to present Christine Olszewski and Alexandra Sherbow from Eisbrenner Public Relations.
Christine and Alex will be presenting workshops on resume writing and career building at our upcoming SDC on Friday, Dec. 6.

Christine Olszewski has been managing and executing corporate events and various activities for Eisbrenner PR clients for more than 14 years. Her organized and detail-oriented mindset keeps teams and clients on schedule and achieving results.
Providing everything from onsite assistance to high-level strategy and counsel, she approaches each event as a vehicle to help client’s reach their business and marketing goals. She has designed an event metrics process for the firm and launched and manages the firm’s event practice area.
Outside of the event arena, Christine uses her client knowledge, writing, editing and project management skills to manage various client projects and activities as well as the firm’s marketing program and internal communication activities.
Prior to joining the firm in 1998, Christine worked at local public relations agencies coordinating community relations programs for a regional restaurant chain and general PR activities for a variety of companies.
Christine received a bachelor’s degree in advertising with an emphasis in public relations from Michigan State University. She co-founded and is a member of the International Special Events Society’s (ISES) Metro Detroit chapter and has served as a contributing writer for Michigan Meetings and Events.
Alex’s drive and work ethic lead her to take on any project that comes her way and achieve results for her teams and clients. Known by her teammates as dependable and always willing to go the extra mile, her arsenal of tools and expertise include media relations, writing, research efforts and more.
Understanding the importance in gaining experience before heading out into the workforce, she leads the firm’s university outreach program, Outside the Book, traveling to local and regional schools and universities to speak about a career in PR and our internship program.
Prior to joining the firm in 2011 as an intern, Alex gained experience in marketing and business-to-consumer PR in a non-profit organization setting. As an intern at the Detroit Zoo she learned the ins and outs of writing press releases and working on social media activities. She also interned at the Washtenaw County Chapter of the American Red Cross writing blog posts, creating marketing materials and increasing attendance at Red Cross classes.
Alex graduated from the University of Michigan with a bachelor’s degree in communication studies and psychology.
